Job summary

ACCEL Schools Arizona seeks a licensed teacher to serve as the teacher of record for an online K-12 program. You will deliver live, research-based instruction, set up courses in the LMS, and monitor student progress while communicating regularly with families.

This role requires an Arizona teaching license, SEI endorsement, and familiarity with state standards. Occasional in-person state testing and events are required.

Qualifications

• Current state teaching license in appropriate content area.
• SEI Endorsement required.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ teaching experience.
• Experience in growth-focused coaching with observations and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor.
• Meet goals related to student achievement and accountability.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student need.
• Complete course setup for each course in the LMS.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback/grade daily.
• Maintain regular contact with each student and families.
