Job summary

ACCEL Schools’ Virtual Preparatory Academy of Arizona seeks a licensed K-12 teacher to deliver live, online instruction and monitor student progress. The role emphasizes SEI endorsement, state standards mastery, and data-driven instructional decisions.

You will differentiate instruction, maintain a nurturing classroom culture, and collaborate with families and the Principal to report on student progress. Occasional travel for testing and events is required.

Qualifications

• Current state teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Must have an SEI (Structured English Immersion) Endorsement.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor.
• Deliver highly effective live lessons via web conference.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback daily.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth.
• Collaborate with Principal to create Progress Reports.
• Travel to support required face-to-face testing and events.
