U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Program Analyst in Social Work Service within the Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System. The role focuses on the Workplace Violence Prevention Program, coordinating PMDB training and ensuring alignment with national policy.

The incumbent provides status updates, supports budget and resource planning, and collaborates with Education Service to schedule courses while supporting the Disruptive Behavior Committee and ETAT as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a related field; transcripts required when applicable.
  • One year of specialized experience for GS-09 or GS-11 equivalent may apply.
  • Knowledge of VA policies and standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the program analyst for the Workplace Violence Prevention Program (WVPP) within VANCHCS.
  • Report to the WVPP Manager and coordinate PMDB training operations.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate PMDB training with fidelity to the national model.
  • Assign, track, and report PMDB training in alignment with directives.
  • Review VHA policy, The Joint Commission, OSHA, and local requirements for compliance.
  • Develop findings and recommendations for policy decisions and resource planning.
  • Collaborate with Education Service to schedule courses and provide admin support to DBC and ETAT.
