Job summary

Synchrony Identity and Access Management (IAM) seeks a seasoned technical leader to spearhead modern authentication. As VP of Authentication Services, you will direct an elite team responsible for scaling SSO, MFA, and passwordless pipelines within a Zero Trust framework.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical STEM discipline.
Alternative Education: High School Diploma / GED with 15+ years of enterprise IT engineering experience.
Minimum 10 years of total enterprise IT engineering experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

Own workforce authentication strategy focused on security and user experience.
Implement leading authentication trends and improve security and UX.
Direct product management and technical roadmaps for core authentication technologies (Okta, YubiKeys, FIDO2/WebAuthn).
Architect secure patterns and zero-trust reference architectures for critical apps.
Lead 24/7 engineering and operations team for high availability.
