Job summary

Beale Infrastructure Group in Austin, Texas is seeking a Senior Manager Procurement and Supply Chain to lead strategic sourcing for mechanical equipment across its rapidly growing data center portfolio.

You will own RFx processes, manage supplier and OEM relationships, optimize total cost of ownership, and align procurement with construction milestones, working closely with engineering, project controls, and field teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement or supply chain leadership.
• Experience with OFCI/OFE purchasing models.
• Data center infrastructure knowledge.
• Strong supplier and OEM relationship management.
• Ability to lead RFx and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies for mechanical equipment across Beale's data center portfolio.
• Optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while balancing cost, quality, schedule, capacity, and risk.
• Lead RFx processes from initial RFI/RFP/RFQ through supplier selection, contracting, procurement, and commissioning support.
• Negotiate complex contracts, framework agreements, and capacity reservation agreements.
• Develop multi-sourcing and contingency strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Standardize technical requirements in partnership with Design & Engineering to reduce bespoke specifications and shorten lead times.
• Coordinate with Site Project Managers, Project Controls/Schedulers, and other stakeholders to align procurement with milestones.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance, and contract compliance.
• Identify risks in Tier 2/3 supply chains and develop mitigation strategies.
