Job summary

Milford is seeking a Safety Coordinator to organize safety documentation, coordinate employee training, and manage contractor compliance systems across locations. You will support HR, track training expirations, and maintain records of incidents and safety procedures.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. OSHA 10 certification is provided after hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety, EHS, compliance, training coordination.
• Strong organization and detail orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• OSHA 10 certification required after hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety and compliance activities across Milford locations.
• Track employee safety training, certifications, renewals, and expirations.
• Schedule internal and third-party training and identify cost-effective options.
• Maintain customer and contractor safety/compliance systems and documentation.
• Assist HR with developing, updating, and communicating safety policies and procedures.
• Gather information and documentation after workplace injuries and incidents.
• Coordinate post-accident testing with HR and obtain medical documentation when needed.
• Maintain safety, incident, training, and compliance records.
• Identify upcoming training or compliance requirements before issues arise.
• Work with managers to resolve missing documentation and overdue training.
