Job summary

AMHC is seeking a Quality Analytics and Clinical Reporting Specialist in Maine to turn clinical and operational data into actionable information supporting quality improvement and regulatory reporting. The role collaborates across departments to validate data, develop dashboards, and strengthen data-driven decisions.

The position is full-time, exempt, with potential remote work based on organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of healthcare analytics experience.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and validating healthcare data.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with EHR reporting or BI platforms.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to varied audiences.
• Strong organizational, project management, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience in behavioral health or related areas preferred.
• Certification in healthcare quality/informatics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain quality, clinical, access, safety, and performance dashboards.
• Analyze performance trends, variations, and care gaps and communicate findings.
• Partner with programs to establish measures, baselines, targets, and monitoring plans.
• Provide analytical support for quality improvement projects.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses for leadership, committees, funders, regulators, and authorized stakeholders.
• Design, build, test, document, and maintain EHR-based and other reporting solutions.
• Support regulatory, contractual, accreditation, grant, and organizational reporting requirements.
• Maintain report specifications, data definitions, calculation logic, validation records, schedules, and distribution documentation.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Quality Management, and program leaders to reconcile data and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, reproducible, and limited to authorized users.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor completion rates and follow-up needs.
• Provide training and support to staff on data collection, workflows, and interpretation.
