Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Projects Lawyer to join its Development team with a flexible location across all US offices. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 10+ years of experience in construction, procurement, and project development, focusing on the power, energy, oil & gas, or chemical sectors.

The position offers opportunities to negotiate and draft various agreements related to high-profile renewable energy projects along with clear paths for career growth and pro bono opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4 to 10+ years of experience as a projects development lawyer.
• Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate engineering, procurement, and construction agreements.
• Handle equipment procurement agreements, including PV, BESS, or turbine procurement.
• Draft operations and maintenance agreements and long-term services agreements.
• Engage in high-profile projects in renewable energy and energy transition technologies.

Skills

Strong negotiation and drafting skills

Ability to work on complex project developments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
