BCG Attorney Search seeks a Senior Energy Transactions Attorney for San Francisco, CA, to lead complex renewable energy projects from development through construction. The role includes negotiating EPC, BOP, supply, O&M, and LTSA agreements, and coordinating due diligence across teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in renewable energy project development, strong drafting, and client-facing business development acumen, with active bar admissions in relevant jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of renewable energy project development experience.
• 10+ years negotiating and drafting renewable energy project development agreements.
• 10+ years due diligence of project documents.
• Experience advising on international trade restraints affecting project documents.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within a team.
• Active engagement in business development and professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and drafting of EPC, BOP, equipment supply, O&M, and LTSA agreements.
• Manage the full life cycle of development and construction transactions.
• Lead multidisciplinary due diligence for financings and purchase/sale transactions.
• Advise on international trade restraints and integrate impacts into project documents.
• Collaborate with clients to craft practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development and thought leadership.
