Job summary

The City of Camas Finance Department seeks a Procurement Contracts Specialist to support citywide procurement operations. Hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with potential remote work up to 2 days per week. The role is represented by the Camas Public Employees’ Association and includes a full benefits package.

The specialist will administer contracts through the procurement lifecycle, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and provide expert assistance to internal staff and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field
• Two years of procurement or purchasing experience with related legal terminology
• Familiar with e-procurement and contract management
• Washington State public sector experience preferred
• APWA CAEC certification or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage contracts throughout the procurement lifecycle
• Review, draft, and process bidding documents, RFPs, and qualifications-based selections
• Provide expert technical assistance to internal city staff and external contractors
• Support citywide procurement operations within the Finance Department
