Job summary

The Municipality of Anchorage's Anchorage Health Department is seeking a Health Clinic Scribe to support the Reproductive Health Clinic. You will provide data entry for clinicians in the electronic medical record system, register and schedule clients, and assist with clerical tasks.

On-site position at 825 L Street with standard business hours; remote work may be considered after probation at management's discretion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 18 months of experience in health and/or social services environment preferred.
• Ability to perform data entry for clinicians in the electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Provide data entry for clinicians in the electronic medical record (EMR) program during client visits and assist with obtaining electronic consent forms.
• Assist nurse clinicians with clients and perform laboratory duties as needed.
• Provide full range of office clerical functions including registering and scheduling clients.
