ScribeAmerica seeks an Entry Level Medical Scribe in Anchorage, AK. You will document patient visits in real time under clinicians’ supervision, building hands-on medical exposure and professional skills.

No experience required; we provide paid training through Scribe University, with full-time and part-time options, plus tuition savings and growth opportunities across 3,000+ locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to stand, sit and use a computer for several hours daily.
• Access to a laptop (provided after training; you may need your own for training).

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
