Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, marketing, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional communications experience, preferably in technology or higher education.
• Strong editing, research, and writing skills with attention to clarity and accuracy.
• Experience translating complex technical concepts for business and stakeholder audiences.
• Experience collaborating with senior administrators and executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ITS communications strategies to make IT work more visible and understood by Chancellor’s Office and campus audiences.
• Translate technical initiatives into audience-specific messages highlighting business value and impact.
• Create recurring products: infographics, roadmaps, project briefs, service spotlights, stakeholder updates.
• Manage internal and end-user communications channels and content governance for consistency.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and provide regular reporting on ITS progress and priorities.
