Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of professional communications experience, ideally in technology or higher education.
• Strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience researching, writing, and editing content in tech/public relations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines and quality output.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communications that highlight ITS work and value across stakeholders.
• Translate complex technology initiatives into clear, business-focused messages.
• Create ITS impact infographics, roadmap updates, and stakeholder briefs.
• Maintain consistent messaging aligned with CSU priorities and branding.
• Lead communications planning for technology implementations and organizational change.
