Job summary

WR Immigration is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing team in Oakland. You will work alongside Legal Assistants, Paralegals, Team Managers, and Partners to prepare and file business-related nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, while leading client communications and coordinating with support teams to implement case strategies.

We require a valid Bar membership and 5+ years in business immigration, with strong knowledge of H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-2, O-1, TN, E-3, J-1 matters, plus

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed attorney with active Bar membership.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in business immigration.
• Strong knowledge of nonimmigrant visa matters (H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-2, O-1, TN, E-3, J-1) and permanent residence matters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and communicate options to address clients’ immigration needs.
• Maintain timely communications with clients during and after filings for program management and compliance.
• Supervise staff to ensure accurate preparation and filing of applications.
• Ensure accuracy for high-volume, rapid-turnover cases and deadlines.
• Assist clients and staff with questions throughout the filing process.
• Perform other duties as required.
