Job summary

Montgomery College seeks a Financial Aid Management Systems Specialist II to manage the Banner Financial Aid module and related systems. The role emphasizes configuring and maintaining financial aid processes, supporting end users, and ensuring data quality within the college’s ERP ecosystem.

The position requires a degree in information systems or related field and at least three years of SI/ERP experience, with strong SQL and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in information systems or related field.
• Three years of experience with a student information system or ERP.
• Experience with Oracle SQL, Crystal Reports or equivalent reporting tool.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve business processes.
• Technical proficiency with ERP modules including database management and troubleshooting.
• Strong MS Office and Excel skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid policies and college procedures.

Responsibilities

• Configure integrated financial aid management systems to align with business needs.
• Maintain and upgrade Banner, ImageNow, Dynamic Forms, and related interfaces.
• Develop and maintain IT systems supporting financial aid processes and data quality.
• Provide end-user training and support for Banner, ImageNow, and related tools.
• Write and maintain system documentation and testing plans.
• Coordinate system upgrades and maintenance efforts.
• Produce reports using Oracle SQL, Crystal Reports, or similar tools.
• Assist with audits and data definition validation.
