Job summary

Inspiration Mobility is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Operations professional to manage maintenance programs, review repairs, reconcile invoices, and provide clear cost reporting for our electric fleet customers. You will work with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure uptime and cost efficiency.

Based in Washington, DC, the role offers hybrid work with in-office days in Dupont Circle; remote work possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fleet services, automotive service management, warranty administration, or related operations role.
• Ability to review repair estimates and invoices, distinguishing necessary work from upsell or warranty-covered items.
• Strong data and reporting skills; comfortable with Excel lookups and databases.

Responsibilities

• Managing repair-related rental programs; verify rental status, approve or deny requests, and reconcile invoices.
• Review 3rd party repair workflow; manage escalations with vendors and pricing decisions.
• Audit completed repairs against authorizations and guidelines; document findings and patterns.
• Reconcile invoices against approved estimates; resolve variances; ensure proper billing.
• Communicate with customers and Success teams on repair status, timelines, and costs; flag delays or changes early.
• Hold vendors accountable by compiling turnaround times, cost adherence, and service-level data.
• Maintain records of approvals, audits, and costs; track spend vs. budget; generate maintenance reports.
• Assist in expanding maintenance services by drafting process docs and onboarding vendors.
