Job summary

WeDriveU is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead fleet maintenance for a large passenger-vehicle operation. You will plan, schedule, and review all maintenance with in-house teams and external providers while monitoring costs and performance.

The role oversees regulatory inspections and roadside support for the fleet. Applicants should bring at least 5 years of fleet management experience, vendor coordination, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing fixed route or paratransit fleets.
• Experience with 70+ buses and maintaining a qualified maintenance program.
• ASE L3 or equivalent certifications related to vehicle operations preferred.
• Experience with EV-specific systems and ongoing staff training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and review of vehicle maintenance with in-house and 3rd party providers.
• Manage preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs for the fleet.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Represent maintenance activities and coordinate with driver care, route operations and customer care.
• Supervise maintenance staff and control costs and inventory.
