Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a D&A Administrator 1 to oversee county drug & alcohol programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements and coordinating across Beaver County. Qualifications

• > Associate’s Degree required in specified fields; six years professional experience in human services with two years supervising.
• > Bachelor’s Degree required in specified fields; four years professional experience in human services with two years supervising.
• > Master’s Degree or above in specified fields; two years professional experience in human services with two years supervising.

Responsibilities

• Program Oversight: Manage planning, implementation, and monitoring to meet state and federal goals.
• Fiscal Management: Administer budgets, review financial reports, ensure responsible use of funding.
• Contract Administration: Develop contracts, oversee providers, coordinate amendments.
• Community Coordination: Collaborate with agencies, boards, and workgroups to strengthen prevention and treatment services.
• Data and Reporting: Evaluate data trends, prepare reports, oversee state reporting systems.
• Staff Leadership: Supervise staff, provide guidance, ensure compliance with policies.

Education

Associate’s Degree with major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education or a clinical specialty in the human services) or other behavioral sciences, public administration or business management

Bachelor’s Degree with major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education or a clinical specialty in the human services) or other behavioral sciences, public administration or business management

Master’s Degree or above with major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education or a clinical specialty in the human services) or other behavioral sciences, public administration or business management
