Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Drug & Alcohol Administrator 1 to oversee county SUD services in Beaver County. The role includes leadership, coordination, and monitoring of service delivery to meet state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities cover program oversight, budget administration, contract management, and data reporting. Telework may be possible part-time after probation, with on-site duties at the Beaver Falls headquarters if telework is not feasible.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with six years of professional experience in a human service agency, including two years supervising professionals
• Bachelor’s Degree with four years of professional experience in a human service agency, including two years supervising professionals
• Master’s Degree with two years of professional experience in a human service agency, including two years supervising professionals

Responsibilities

• Oversee program planning, implementation, and monitoring to meet state and federal goals
• Administer budgets, review financial reports, and ensure responsible use of funding
• Develop contracts, oversee providers, and coordinate amendments to support service delivery
• Collaborate with agencies, boards, and workgroups to strengthen prevention and treatment services
• Evaluate data trends, prepare reports, and oversee required state reporting systems
• Supervise staff, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations

Education

Associate’s Degree (or higher) in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing with relevant specialty, behavioral sciences, public administration or business management

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in same fields

Master’s Degree or above in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or related field
