Job summary

Arclin is hiring a Corporate Process Engineer for PP & FS, reporting to the Process Engineering Manager. The role focuses on developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods across chemical processing operations, with remote eligibility and travel up to 50%.

The position supports both batch and continuous manufacturing and collaborates with site engineering, controls, automation, maintenance, safety, and R&T to ensure safe, reliable operations and standardized engineering practices.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with batch and continuous processing operations.
• Working knowledge of web handling, polymer processing, and solids handling systems.
• Experience in or with Process Safety Management (PSM) facilities.
• Ability to collaborate across plant operations and corporate leadership.
• Experience performing Root Cause Analysis and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain systems to ensure consistent quality of materials and products across chemical processing operations.
• Serve as technical liaison to support process improvements, scale‑ups, and new product introductions.
• Monitor and improve plant efficiency, throughput, yield, and reliability to meet cost objectives.
• Provide technical guidance on chemical unit operations and equipment performance.
• Contribute to capital and expense project analyses, including design and cost estimates.
• Apply mass and energy balance, heat and momentum transfer, and reaction fundamentals to design systems.
• Promote consistent application of Process Safety Management principles.
