American Oncology Management Company’s AON Lab is seeking a Client Services professional to support clinic and laboratory operations in Fort Myers, FL. You will handle inquiries, report results, and assist with accessioning and billing processes, acting as a liaison among the business office, clinic, and lab.

The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, insurance verification, and coordinating with UM for authorizations when required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years in a medical billing and/or laboratory environment.
• Experience with insurance authorization and benefit investigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries by telephone, fax, and email regarding patient results and services.
• Report laboratory results to providers using established protocols and maintain records.
• Review and process insurance authorizations and billing documentation in the EMR and billing systems.
• Assist with accessioning duties: packing/unpacking specimens, labeling checks, and LIS entry.
• Support billing processes, coding accuracy, and coordination between lab, clinic, and reference labs.
