Job summary

AON Lab is seeking a detail-oriented Client Services professional to support clinic and laboratory operations, billing, and insurance verification. You will handle inquiries, report-test results, and assist accessioning while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with processes.

The role involves collaboration with UM, revenue cycle, and lab teams, with emphasis on customer service, data accuracy, and timely claims processing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in medical billing or laboratory environment.
• Experience with insurance authorization and benefit investigation.
• CCA/CCS/CPC preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Handle clinic and lab customer inquiries via phone, fax, and email.
• Report laboratory results to providers using established protocols.
• Maintain records in EMR and billing systems; ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with accessioning duties including specimen handling and LIS entry.
• Process claims and ensure proper ICD codes and authorizations.
• Support monthly QA reports and BI data reviews.
