OnPoint Medical Group in Colorado is seeking a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to join our growing practice. This full-time role requires onsite training in Highlands Ranch, CO, with potential to work remotely once training is complete for Colorado residents.

You will translate medical diagnoses and procedures into ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes, ensure compliant billing, and collaborate with clinicians to resolve documentation gaps. AAPC CPC credential is required.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential required from the AAPC or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze clinical documentation to assign accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, payer policies, and coding guidelines to minimize claim denials and audits.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.
• Maintain and update coding knowledge by participating in ongoing education and training programs.
• Prepare and submit coded data for billing and reimbursement processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
