Gurstel Law Firm, P.C. in California is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney to take ownership of case dockets, advocate for clients, and work in a fast-paced environment.

You will draft and review pleadings, manage discovery, and coordinate court appearances both virtually and in-person as needed. The ideal candidate has a California Bar license, 3–5 years of civil litigation experience, and proven collaboration and leadership skills.

Formación

• Qualified attorney with no discipline history with an active license in the state for which they will work in.
• Membership in California Bar
• 3-5 Years’ experience preferred.
• Minimum 2-year civil law firm preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with other employees to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying high quality solutions.
• Possesses leadership skills and the ability to drive and motivate other employees to achieve results.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills across a broad spectrum of attorney and non-attorney recipients including all levels within the organization and external.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of litigation cases and manage all litigation life cycle.
• Prepare, draft, review documents, motions, referrals, and discovery responses.
• Coordinate and attend court proceedings virtually; travel to courts as needed.
• Research and interpret case laws and regulations; formulate legal opinions.
• Communicate with clients to maintain and develop relationships; negotiate settlements.
• Attend continuing education and webinars to stay updated on laws and procedures.
