The State of Arizona, Department of Economic Security, is seeking an Eligibility Interviewer to determine eligibility for Nutrition, Medical, and Cash Assistance. Work includes phone interviews, data entry, and customer service in a high-volume environment.

Remote options within Arizona may be available based on department needs. The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to helping families in need.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or call-center exposure preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to operate multiple computer screens while talking with clients.

Responsabilités

• Handle calls to determine eligibility for Medical/Nutrition/Cash assistance.
• Attend paid classroom training with on-the-job coaching.
• Enter data accurately while interviewing applicants.
• Explain eligibility requirements to applicants of diverse backgrounds.
• Adhere to high-volume call-center metrics and timelines.
• Provide compassionate service and assist clients to resources.
