Job summary

SCAN Health Plan is hiring an Eligibility Coordinator for a temporary role in Long Beach. The position focuses on reconciling and updating member information, verifying eligibility for enrollment, and maintaining data integrity in the IKA system.

You will support teammates, participate in process improvements, and contribute to timely enrollment while adhering to federal and state regulations. This temporary role offers mostly remote work, competitive hourly pay, and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with up to 3 years related experience.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
• Ability to learn and follow departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process member applications by reviewing data and assigning codes.
• Enter member data into IKA system accurately and timely.
• Verify eligibility and enrollment using state and federal resources.
• Prepare eligibility reports and respond to inquiries from providers and members.
• Reconcile data daily and resolve discrepancies in claims and queues.
• Provide customer service and support to teammates and stakeholders.
