Job summary

Indiana Connections Academy is seeking an Elementary Teacher to manage instructional programs from a home office in Indiana. You will consult with learning coaches and students via telephone and internet to ensure successful completion of the instructional program.

Responsibilities include grading, progress reports, parent conferences, and regular communication to develop and update Personal Learning Plans while supporting students with daily assignments and projects in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach Elementary grades in Indiana.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and punctual.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events.

Responsibilities

• Provide asynchronous and synchronous instruction from home.
• Complete grading, prepare progress reports, and conduct parent conferences.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, students, and teachers to update learning plans.
• Develop curriculum knowledge and support daily assignments and projects.
• Coordinate with team members to create enrichment activities and modifications as needed.
• Assist with field trips and integrate them into curriculum.
• Participate in State Testing and student recruiting activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
