Job summary

Indiana Connections Academy seeks a certified High School Science Teacher to remotely manage and deliver online instruction from a home office in Indiana. You will consult with learning coaches, grade assignments, and conduct conferences with parents to support each student’s instructional program.

Responsibilities include coordinating with teachers and staff, maintaining records, and leveraging technology to facilitate asynchronous and synchronous lessons.

Qualifications

• Certification to teach Indiana High School Science.
• Strong tech skills with Microsoft OS, MS Office, and Google Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Customer-focused approach and flexibility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Grade submissions, generate progress reports, and conduct parent conferences.
• Provide asynchronous and synchronous instructional support.
• Review curriculum and adapt lessons to improve understanding.
• Maintain ongoing communication with parents, students, and teachers.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure student progress and clear point of contact for families.
• Develop knowledge of K-12 curriculum and detailed course expertise.
• Assist students and families with alternate strategies and daily tasks.
• Maintain accurate student records and attendance data.
• Coordinate with learning specialists to modify enrichment activities.
• Create and sustain a virtual school community.
• Support state testing administration as directed.
• Coordinate with guidance to ensure progress and goals are met.
• Attend field trips and community events with families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
