Job summary

Minnesota Connections Academy is seeking an Elementary Teacher to deliver online instruction from home to students in Minnesota. The role supports the K-12 program and requires coordination with learning coaches and students to ensure successful learning outcomes.

You will handle grading, progress reporting, and regular parent communication, while maintaining accurate student records and attending state testing events as needed. Certification and strong tech skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach Elementary grades in MN.
• Strong technology skills with MS Office.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for events.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional program with asynchronous and synchronous sessions.
• Complete grading, progress reports and conduct parent conferences.
• Communicate with parents and students to develop Personal Learning Plans.
• Maintain up-to-date student records and attendance.
• Coordinate field trips and social activities.
• Assist with State Testing organization and administration.
• Participate in student recruitment sessions and marketing events.
