The Cyber Academy of South Carolina (CASC) seeks a qualified Substitute Teacher to deliver online instruction while supporting students and collaborating with instructors. This exempt, full-time role requires a South Carolina teaching certificate and alignment with state standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
State Teaching Certification (SC) required.
Six months of student teaching experience preferred.
Proficiency with state content standards and K12 curriculum.

Responsibilities

Takes ownership for students’ academic progress and attendance, communicating high expectations and showing active interest in students’ achievement.
Prepares students for high stakes standardized tests.
Conducts live synchronous teaching – minimum of 15 hours per week.
Asynchronously supports objectives, including emails, learning plans, and data-driven needs.
Collaborates with teams and trainers regarding instruction, resources, interventions and data-driven decision making.
Submits grades and required student work; maintains grade book and reports progress.
