DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to guide frontier AI models in solving real hardware engineering challenges. You’ll design problems, judge model reasoning, and defend engineering decisions with rigorous rationale.

We value strong circuit, RF, control, and power knowledge, fluent English, and 2+ years in the field. This flexible, remote role welcomes candidates in multiple countries, including the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Strong ability to defend design tradeoffs and decisions.
• Fluency in English, native or bilingual level.
• Willingness to work with AI tools.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and evaluate outputs.
• Compare two model versions and identify better performance.
• Critique model-derived derivations, schematics, and calculations, with rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence.
