Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You will leverage years of hardware design, debugging, and shipping experience to guide the models.

You will design realistic engineering problems, run them on AI models, compare versions, critique outputs, and document your reasoning with evidence. This is a flexible, remote, project-based role with broad scope across analog, RF, control, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong command of circuit analysis and design tradeoffs.
• Ability to articulate why an answer is wrong, not only that it is.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for models.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs.
• Compare two model versions on identical prompts and evaluate performance.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and calculations with evidence.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and write the reasoning behind conclusions.
