Solventum is seeking a Category Manager (Electronics) for a remote US role. You will manage suppliers, develop category strategies, and lead negotiations to ensure product availability while optimizing cost and quality.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in electronics contract manufacturing, strong supplier relationships, and cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality. This position offers remote work within the United States and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years in electronics components/contract manufacturing.
• Experience managing and developing supplier relationships.
• Experience negotiating supplier or manufacturing contracts.
• Experience with electronics contract manufacturing including components like PCBAs, displays, pumps/motors, power supplies, or cables.
• Experience collaborating with internal/external stakeholders on complex projects and applying regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage electronics components and contract manufacturing suppliers to ensure product availability.
• Lead supplier relationships and scorecards for performance, cost, quality and working capital.
• Identify, lead & implement contract negotiations, category strategies and make-vs-buy decisions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance and other teams on strategic initiatives.
• Develop continuous supply chain improvement practices to enhance lead times, agility and risk mitigations.
