Job summary

Franklin Electric is seeking a Global Category Manager - Electronics to lead the electronics category strategy, supplier partnerships, and cross-functional sourcing efforts. You will guide multi-year plans, balance cost and innovation, and ensure supply continuity for electronics components and EMS partnerships.

The role requires 7–10 years in category management or strategic sourcing, a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), and strong negotiation with MSAs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of category management or strategic sourcing experience in electronics.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or supply chain; MBA preferred.
• Strong contract management and MSA negotiation experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and spend analytics is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of semiconductor markets and EMS supply chains a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes multi-year global category strategies for electronics.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and MSAs; manage terms and pricing mechanisms.
• Oversee semiconductor allocation, product lifecycle, and obsolescence risk.
• Lead cross-functional teams and communicate category metrics to leadership.
• Drive regionalization/localization strategies and cost-containment efforts.
