Job summary

FM Conway is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support our Aggregate and Asphalt division. The role covers UK asphalt plants including Erith, Heathrow, Reading, Theale, Aldershot, Croydon and Newhaven with regular travel between sites.

You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding, and improvements to keep plants safe and efficient. A Level 3 electrical qualification and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

Must have Level 3 electrical qualification and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experience in manufacturing/industrial or process plant environments with strong fault-finding skills.
Full UK driving licence is essential due to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventive maintenance, inspections and reactive repairs on electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out electrical installations, repairs and improvements to minimise plant downtime.
Ensure all work is completed safely in line with regulations, permit to work systems and LOTOTO procedures.
Maintain electrical compliance records, documentation and maintenance schedules.
Support engineering projects including equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning.
Travel between sites and respond to out-of-hours breakdowns as required.
Supervise contractors and mentor apprentices and colleagues.
