Job summary

FM Conway is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve electrical and mechanical plant across multiple Asphalt Plants in the South East. The role requires fault finding, PLC understanding, and execution of electrical upgrades with travel between Erith, Heathrow, Reading, Theale, Aldershot, Croydon and Newhaven.

You will hold Level 3 in electrical discipline, City & Guilds 2330, and 18th Edition, with a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in an electrical discipline (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2330 (or equivalent) and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Driving licence is essential due to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults and improve installations to minimise downtime.
• Ensure work complies with electrical regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain electrical compliance records and schedules.
• Support projects including installations, upgrades and commissioning.
