Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop permit drawings and construction documents for complex installations. You will collaborate with field electricians, project managers, designers, and BIM teams to deliver constructible designs across diverse projects, from Design/Build to large-scale facilities.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, relevant licensure/certifications, and 3–5 years of design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) required.
• EIT/EI certification or PE license; ability to sit for Electrical PE exam within 1–2 years.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical facilities power design including lighting and load calculations.
• Experience in healthcare, heavy industrial, and/or data center projects desirable; controls a plus.
• Proficiency in Revit and Autodesk tools; familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops and prepares detailed electrical engineering permit drawings and construction documents.
• Develops conceptual designs, sketches, and value engineering ideas for planning.
• Prepares calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
• Under licensed engineer supervision, performs studies (arc flash, short circuit, OCPD, duct bank ampacity).
• Coordinates with vendors, reviews shop drawings, models accurate systems in Revit.
• Maintains QA/QC standards and supports design team in improving workflows.
