Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring judgment from years of hardware design, debugging, and shipping, while we provide challenging AI-driven engineering problems.

You will design and run engineering prompts, critique model outputs with evidence, and defend your conclusions on circuits, RF, control systems, power, and materials.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (native or bilingual) required.
• 2+ years in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical/electronics or related field.
• Ability to justify design choices and defend engineering reasoning.
• Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging engineering problems for AI evaluation.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and identify strengths/weaknesses.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and calculations with evidence.
• Flag incorrect assumptions, sign errors, unphysical results, or misinterpretations.
