Ehvert Mission Critical, a Salas O’Brien business unit, seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on hyperscale and AI data center projects across the United States. You will model, analyze, and document power distribution, UPS, standby generators, and security systems, coordinating BIM models with architects and other engineers.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in related fields, with strong knowledge of NEC/IEEE codes and BIM software like

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in construction or data center environments.
• Knowledge of MV/LV power distribution, UPS, generators, and redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N).
• Familiar with NEC, IEEE, and international codes for mission-critical facilities.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit) and electrical design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design activities on major projects in the United States.
• Design, model, and simulate electrical systems for hyperscale and AI data centers.
• Develop electrical systems including power distribution, UPS, standby generators, and security systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, schematic designs, and detailed drawings.
• Create technical documentation including design criteria and specifications.
• Coordinate BIM models with architects and other engineers; resolve conflicts.
• Review shop drawings for code compliance and safety standards.
• Use BIM to construct electrical systems and coordinate with disciplines.
• Assist in coordinating projects, including on-site supervision and site visits.
• Utilize laser scanning to document installation states.
