Caterpillar's Electric Power Division is seeking a qualified engineer to design, program, test, and commission generator paralleling control systems. You will deliver automation solutions for complex power systems, collaborating with dealers, factories, and field teams from concept through commissioning.

The role requires a BSEE or BSEET or equivalent experience, strong PLC/HMI skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or BSEET, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on PLC and HMI experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Mansioni

• Identify retrofit opportunities with dealers and factory teams.
• Execute design, programming, testing, and commissioning of PLC-based control systems.
• Convert legacy PLC programs to current platforms and validate performance.
• Develop and modify PLC and HMI applications using standard templates.
• Support field performance and provide escalation support.
