Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Commodity Manager, Electrical to own sourcing strategy for electrical equipment, partnering with Engineering to balance cost and technical requirements. The role is remote and focuses on supply security, capacity, and cost discipline for critical operations.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in commodity strategy for electrical equipment, strong negotiation skills, and experience with RFx processes, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and supplier performance analysis.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in commodity strategy for electrical equipment or similar
• Proven track record negotiating multi-year supply agreements
• Strong understanding of metals pricing indices and escalation terms
• Experience managing end-to-end RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes
• Proficient in ERP/procurement platforms like SAP or Oracle

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year commodity strategies for electrical equipment categories
• Secure manufacturing capacity and lead times for long-lead electrical gear
• Negotiate and execute master supply agreements and pricing amendments
• Run quarterly business reviews and supplier scorecards
• Partner with Electrical Engineering on specifications and design-for-cost decisions
