Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to support construction and engineering teams through advanced 3D modeling. Responsibilities include creating BIM models of electrical designs, integrating multidisciplinary data, and performing clash detection. Successful candidates will have proficiency in BIM tools like Revit, solid communication skills, and a grasp of construction standards. This position allows fully remote work or comes from our Lexington, KY or Greenville, SC offices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software.
• Integrating design information from various disciplines into the 3D model.
• Identifying spatial conflicts or clashes between building components.
