Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to enhance our construction and engineering capabilities. In this role, you'll create and maintain detailed 3D models, perform clash detection, and generate documentation for project support. A strong knowledge of BIM tools and excellent communication skills are essential. This position is eligible for a fully remote setup or working from our physical offices in Lexington, KY, or Greenville, SC, ensuring flexibility for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in various BIM software tools.
• Create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Strong understanding of construction standards and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Create and update 3D models of electrical systems.
• Integrate design information into the 3D model.
• Perform clash detection to resolve design conflicts.
• Generate construction documentation to support projects.
• Maintain BIM models with design updates.
• Collaborate with project teams to align designs.
• Provide visualizations and reports for decision-making.

Skills

Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, Navisworks)

Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models
