Job summary

ECS is seeking an Elastic Security Education & Enablement Consultant to lead customer enablement, training delivery, and knowledge transfer efforts while also serving as a Security Analyst supporting Elastic Security operations and use cases.

This role requires strong instructional and communication skills, the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences, and hands-on experience with Elastic Security to support customer training, investigations, and best practice adoption.

Qualifications

• 2+ years delivering technical training or customer enablement programs.
• Elastic Security proficiency including monitoring, detection, dashboards, and reporting.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and instructional communication skills.
• Experience developing training materials, labs, or technical docs.
• Strong cybersecurity fundamentals including networks and detection concepts.
• Analytical skills for identifying patterns across data sources.
• Experience supporting investigations, alert triage, or threat analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for short engagements.
• Must possess and maintain a U.S. Passport.
• Must have a Secret clearance, at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Customer Training & Enablement: deliver instructor-led and virtual training on Elastic Security, SIEM operations, and best practices.
• Curriculum Development: create materials, labs, student guides, and exercises tailored to customers.
• Learning Assessment: evaluate learner progress and drive improvements.
• Elastic Platform Instruction: teach usage of Elastic Security, Kibana dashboards, detections, and reporting.
• Workshop Facilitation: lead technical workshops and hands-on sessions for analysts and leaders.
• Knowledge Transfer: conduct structured knowledge sharing and handoffs to customers.
• SIEM Operations: analyze events, investigate alerts, and support security operations.
• Threat Detection & Analysis: correlate telemetry to identify suspicious activity and actions.
• Content Development: tune detections, dashboards, and security content.
• Incident Response Support: assist with triage, investigations, containment, and root cause analysis.
• Threat Research: investigate emerging threats to improve awareness and detection.
