Job summary

ECS is seeking an Elastic Security Education & Enablement Consultant to work remotely. You will lead customer enablement, training delivery, and knowledge transfer while supporting Elastic Security operations and use cases.

This role requires strong instructional abilities, exceptional communication, and hands-on Elastic Security experience to train customers, investigations, and best practice adoption. Travel may be required for engagements.

Qualifications

• Elastic Security proficiency including monitoring, detection, investigation, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience delivering technical training, cybersecurity education, or customer enablement programs.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional communication skills.
• Experience developing training materials, course content, lab exercises, or technical documentation.
• Strong cybersecurity fundamentals including network protocols and attack techniques.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying patterns across data sources.
• Experience supporting security investigations, alert triage, or threat analysis activities.
• Willingness to support domestic travel and work remotely when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructor‑led and virtual training sessions focused on Elastic Security and SIEM operations.
• Create and maintain training materials, labs, guides, and knowledge transfer documentation.
• Evaluate learner progress and recommend improvements to training programs.
• Instruct customers on Elastic Security usage, Kibana dashboards, detections, and reporting.
• Lead workshops, demonstrations, and hands‑on sessions for security teams.
• Support structured knowledge transfer and operational handoff activities.
• Analyze security events and investigations using Elastic Security to support operations.
• Correlate data to identify indicators of compromise and suggest actions.
