Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an experienced EHR Implementation Analyst to lead tasks related to Epic Ambulatory/Outpatient builds, adoption, enhancement, and support. The role encompasses analysis, development, training, testing, go-live, and ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities include gathering workflow information, documenting current and future processes, performing testing, and providing remote or on-site end-user support from Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of assigned EHR application(s) and navigate Epic Ambulatory/Outpatient.
• Meet with personnel to gather information and observe workflows.
• Document current and proposed workflows using flowcharts.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain design specifications, build documentation, test plans, and transition materials.
• Perform application testing including scenario-based, integrated, and parallel testing.
• Provide regular updates and escalate issues as needed.
• Deliver training material and conduct training sessions (virtual or in-person).
• Support system upgrades, patches, and monitoring; provide 24x7x365 support as needed.
