Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an EHR Systems Analyst to support the Clinical Access Revenue System department, focusing on optimizing electronic health record workflows and revenue cycle processes. This role bridges end users and the EHR Team, ensuring system solutions align with clinical and business needs.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree with preferred experience in professional billing, coding, claims, and project management, and EPIC Resolute

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Epic certification preferred.
• Preferred: 2+ years in healthcare IT with billing, coding, claims and project management.
• EPIC certification within 180 days required (or pursued)

Responsibilities

• Provide user support and resolve technical/workflow issues.
• Collaborate with Epic team and stakeholders to implement enhancements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot EHR system builds with patient safety focus.
• Analyze configurations for quality and safety implications.
• Complete routine revisions to meet build metrics and standards.
• Assist in implementation and optimization efforts with approvals.
• Provide functional expertise on clinical workflow and system design.
