Job summary

Software Technology Inc. (STI) is seeking a Healthcare Data Integration Technical Analyst to support NC HIEA and NC HealthConnex by leading EHR data integration, analytics, and technical support activities.

The role collaborates with EHR vendors, technical teams, analysts, and clinical stakeholders to ensure reliable data exchange and high-quality clinical data. The ideal candidate has strong SQL, SAS, and InterSystems HealthShare experience, deep knowledge of HL7 v2 and C-CDA, and a proven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, SAS, and/or InterSystems HealthShare.
• 5+ years of experience with EHR systems, HL7 v2, and C-CDA.
• 5+ years of experience with ETL, data validation, transformation, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of HIE standards, healthcare data architecture, and HIPAA compliance.
• Proven ability to lead complex EHR integration and technical analysis efforts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis and support for EHR/HIE data integrations.
• Support NC HIEA and SAS platforms, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability.
• Manage change requests, enhancements, and defect resolution for the NC HealthConnex Clinical Portal.
• Develop complex SQL and SAS queries for data validation, analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Validate data extracts, transformations, and ETL/load processes.
• Use InterSystems HealthShare to support healthcare data exchange and integration.
• Analyze and troubleshoot HL7 v2 and C-CDA clinical data.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts, EHR vendors, and clinical stakeholders.
• Document technical requirements, clinical workflows, integrations, and system specifications.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data regulations.
