Job summary

MPOWERHealth is seeking an EEG Technologist to remotely monitor EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies from a secure workspace, with on-site support as needed.

You’ll support clinical teams by detecting patterns, documenting seizure semiology, and maintaining system operations across Cadwell, Nihon Kohden, and Xltek equipment. A strong candidate has at least 1 year of EEG experience and ABRET certification.

Qualifications

• ABRET R. EEG T. certification; CLTM a strong plus.
• At least 1 year of EEG experience.
• Current AHA CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology as they relate to EEG.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and typing speed of 45+ WPM.
• Availability for 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Be the eyes on every study: Monitor EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies in real time.
• Spot abnormal EEG patterns across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
• Capture seizure semiology with precision.
• Operate and troubleshoot Cadwell, Nihon Kohden, and Xltek systems.
• Perform routine EEG procedures and unhook patients after studies.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicate with patients and medical staff professionally.
